Opportunity Now’s Phase 3 Provisional Applicants

Opportunity Now Colorado has notified eight provisional applicants of the intent to award $7 million for Phase 3 of Opportunity Now. Collectively, Phase 3 provisional applicants anticipate training 1,815 Coloradans in key industries and placing 1,175 Coloradans into good-paying jobs.  

Phase 3 provisional applicants will serve communities across all 14 OEDIT regions, ensuring students and workers from all four corners have opportunities to learn in-demand skills, earn living wages, and grow their economic mobility. At the same time, provisional applicants will help close Colorado’s workforce gaps by connecting employers with education and training providers to strengthen talent pipelines.

Phase 3 provisional applicants have partnerships with 22 employers and business leaders and 20 training and education partners. Five provisional applicants are led by nonprofit organizations, two by educational institutions, and one by an LLC. 

To date, Opportunity Now Colorado has awarded $89.5 million through 96 grants. A public event is anticipated to be held with Phase 3 provisional applicants in June 2025.
